Monday morning. You either like it or you hate it. To most people, this is a day of dread because it is the beginning of the work week. For me, it is a day off. After working all weekend, it is refreshing to relax for day.
This summer, I have the opportunity to watch my daughter while my wife goes to work. On this particular day, I also have my niece hanging out with me.
We have already been to the play land at McDonalds, been home, then to a park and then home for lunch. After lunch we went to another park. It has been a very busy, but rewarding day. I am truly blessed to be able to have this opportunity.
I am reminded of what the psalmist said…
3 Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from him.
4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are children born in one’s youth.
5 Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them.
They will not be put to shame
when they contend with their opponents in court.
